Autumn sensory bottle

I like the idea of sensory bottles. They are inexpensive, homemade and it stops the little darlings from eating things they shouldn’t!

Plus they get to look at things, possibly smell and shake things safely!

I had planned to make a bottle with conkers in it… but could I find any when we went out?… no!

Never mind!

Instead I collected lots of lovely things that I wanted to show piglet but that I couldn’t let her touch.

We picked…

Hawthorn berries

Slough berries

Elderberry berries!

Plus a couple of other things I dont know the name of!

Holly would be a good one to put in there too.

I used a water bottle that was given to me at exercise with baby  (bit of recycling! ). Popped everything in and made sure the lid was on tight. You could super glue it on just to make sure.

At the moment piglet has been putting it in her mouth and giving it a good shake. But that’s just what babies are mean to do!

Love this little piglet!

Have a go at making one!

Enjoy
